Mumford & Sons have been named as one of the final acts to perform at this year's Abu Dhabi Formula One race.

The British folk band will perform at the after-race concert series, which will be held at the du Arena from November 23 to 26.

They join the already announced Calvin Harris and Pink.

The Scottish DJ will kick off the concert festivities on November 23, while the American pop star Pink has been tasked with the prestigious race day concert on November 26.

Access to the shows is only available for those purchasing tickets for the corresponding race day.

The line up marks one of the most modern in Abu Dhabi F1 history.

Nearly each artist arriving in the capital with new music to release: Calvin Harris returns to the capital, having recently dropped his impressive new collection Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1. As The National witnessed during his recent set at the Singapore F1 race, Harris will take the du Arena stage for a greatest hits performance that is backed by an eye popping live show.

While Mumford & Sons' last release was the live concert EP Johannesburg last year, the four piece have been hitting the road lately to warm before entering the studio and working on their fourth album.

As for Pink, the UAE will be one of the first crowds to hear the new tracks from her upcoming album seventh album Beautiful Trauma, which is slated for release on October 13. The sparse ballad and lead single, What About Us, has already done the business, having cracked the top 10 in the US.

The F1 concert announcements came on the back of yesterday's news that Creamfields will also be returning to Abu Dhabi. The dance music festival has been put on ice after its 2014 edition which featured headliners Hardwell and Afrojack. The latest instalment will return on December 8, however there is no news regarding who will headline or whether it will be held at du Arena.

To attend the four Yasalam After-Race Concert performances it is necessary to purchase a ticket for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
