Maluma to perform in Saudi Arabia this month

The Colombian Grammy Award winner will play as part of the Ad Diriyah E-Prix

Maluma is the first artist announced to perform as part of the Ad Diriyah E-Prix in Saudi Arabia.

The Colombian singer will take the stage on Saturday, November 23, and will join a list of soon to be revealed artists taking the stage over two nights at Ad Diriyah, a heritage site north-west of Riyadh. The racing event takes place from Thursday, November 21 to Saturday, November 23. Maluma will be supported by Lebanese Canadian RnB singer Massari.

Similar to the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix, the Saudi concerts will take place on a special performance stage after each race day.

This will be the second Formula E’s race to be held in the kingdom. Conceived in 2011, Formula E, is a class of auto-racing that uses only electric-powered cars.

Maluma’s Saudi Arabian gig is part of his wider world tour that will also stop in Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on Friday February 14, with tickets on sale today from www.coca-cola-arena.com.

The 25-year-old, born Juan Luis Londono Arias and raised in the city of Medellin, released his first album at the tender age of 17, though found fame with his 2015 album Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy. He has gone on to collaborate with some of the Latin music industry's biggest names, including Ricky Martin and Shakira, as well as Madonna and J Balvin.
