Jason Derulo has been announced as supporting act for Alicia Key's Dubai concert in November.

The 23-year-old RnB singer will take the stage before Keys at the Dubai Media City Amphitheater on November 15.

Derulo's Dubai's appearance is part of his musical comeback after spending over a year recovering from breaking his neck during rehearsals in January last year.

Back at his limber best and with latest single, the electro-fueled The Other Side, the Watcha Say singer is moonwalking his way back to the concert stage.

Derulo describes the shows as a way to thank fans for staying the course.

"It's a crazy feeling. Coming back, it's been about a year-and-a-half since people have seen me on the scene because of my injury," he said.

"To be received so well when I'm coming back is really something special."

Alicia Key's return to Dubai to tour her fifth album Girl on Fire.

Her latest collection found her collaborating with Bruno Mars and hip-hop producer husband Swizz Beats.

Girl on Fire also finds Keys experimenting with traces of electro-pop, rock and reggae.
