After a season of cancellations, Dubai's Coca-Cola Arena had one concert left on its spring / summer schedule: the Wednesday, May 27 Iron Maiden gig. However, this morning, the City Walk arena announced that it had been cancelled, amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Due to the ongoing international measures being taken to ensure the public’s health and safety, the upcoming Iron Maiden show has been cancelled," the Coca-Cola Arena tweeted. "Ticket holders will receive a full refund automatically from their point of purchase within 21 working days."

Fans in the region have reacted to news of the cancellation.
"I'm devastated. This was a bucket list concert for me. I've always dreamed of seeing this tour in particular," Faisal Al Mutairi told The National.
"I was among the first to buy tickets, refreshing the website until the minute they were available. I've never seen them live and now who knows if I ever will."
Iron Maiden had been scheduled to continue with their Legacy of the Beast Tour this summer.
They had dates in Australia and New Zealand this May which have all been postponed, while concerts in the Philippines and Japan, planned for later in May, have already been cancelled. Tickets for a handful of dates across Europe in June, including in Bremen, Germany, Belfast and Gothenburg, Sweden, are still on sale. However, June dates in Finland, England, Denmark and Norway have already been cancelled.
Concerts cancelled and postponed at the Coca-Cola Arena
Amid the pandemic, two K-pop events – the K-pop Super Concert and the K-pop Music Bank concert – had both been postponed, with no future date announced to fans.
However, Louis Tomlinson and rapper Russ's gigs have both been postponed until later this year – Thursday, October 1 and Friday, November 27 , respectively.
Russ tweeted about the change to his schedule in March, writing: "I have to postpone the Dubai show due to the coronavirus. I know, wild lol but outta my control ... but your tickets will all be valid for the new date, which will be November 27 this year."
