The South Korean rapper and internet phenomenon Park Jae-sang denied today that he will be the headline act at the My Music X festival to be held at Atlantis The Palm.

PSY, as he is better known, took to Twitter and emphatically dismissed reports of his festival appearance.

"To fans in Dubai there is some wrong information being reported," he said. "I will NOT be in Dubai March 28 but look forward to coming soon."

Responding to the tweet, My Music X released a statement pledging to investigate the situation.

"My Music X is aware of a tweet from Korea this morning in relation to the appearance of PSY at our My Music X Festival next month," the statement read.

"The My Music X team is currently making inquiries into the situation and will update the public as soon as the circumstances are clearer."

Acts scheduled to appear on the bill include dance-hall rapper Sean Paul, 90's RnB stars Teddy Riley and Keith Sweat as well as dance DJs David Morales and Sander Kleinberg.
