Coachella 2020: full line-up revealed
Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean to headline the Californian festival in April
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival — better known as Coachella — has announced the 2020 line-up with Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean leading the bill.
The star-studded festival will also host Calvin Harris, Run the Jewel, Lana Del Ray, Megan Thee Stallion and Flume. The line-up slants towards hip hop, R&B, rap and metal and moves away from last year's pop-focused weekend headlined by Ariana Grande.
K-Pop fans will be happy with the line-up with both BigBang and EpikHigh on the billing
In a classic Coachella twist, Danny Elfman is also on the line-up. The American composer is the man behind the theme tunes for Desperate Housewives, Batman and The Simpsons.
Scottish singer and songwriter Lewis Capaldi, who will play in Sharjah later this month, is also set to perform at the boho-festival.
Coachella 2020 will take place across two weekends in April. The first installment will be from April 10 to 12, while the second weekend will run from April 17 to 19. As always, it will take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Tickets for the first weekend of Coachella 2020 have already sold out.
Fans keen to attend the second weekend can register now for pre-sale tickets. These are set to go on sale on Monday, January 6, 2020. General admission tickets start from $429 (Dh1,575) plus booking fees.
