Carly Rae Jepsen is the next big name announced as part of the upcoming Dubai music festival Fiesta De Los Muertos.

The Canadian popstar, responsible for chart topping anthems Call Me Maybe and I Really Like You, will bring her collection of catchy and retro flavoured tunes to the Dubai Autism Rocks Arena on October 27.

Jepsen announcement comes on the back of last week’s news that UK grime rapper Stormzy will replace singer and actor Nick Jonas on the bill.

It all shapes for an eclectic night of music both artists joining the likes of edgy pop group Gorillaz, the Canadian-Lebanese RnB singer Massari, the zany Mexican cover band The Mariachis and the UAE based electronic groups Consoul Trainin and Arcade 82.

“We are very pleased with this amazing line-up of super talented, in-demand performers that we have curated from various music genres,” said Thomas Ovesen, head of festival organisers 117Live.

“There is definitely something for everyone from pop and house to rock and hip-hop, international as well as local stars. And of course, the off the chart, crazy Mariachis.”

Tickets begin from Dh350 from www.117live.com
