The two-day line-up at Party in the Park just keeps getting better ... and more British. Organisers have announced that Lighthouse Family will be joining the bill, along with Fatboy Slim, The Kooks and The Verve's Richard Ashcroft.
The festival is set to take place on Thursday, October 31 and Friday, November 1 at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.
Lighthouse Family will be joining the line-up on November 1, their first time in the UAE. Expect to hear favourites like Lifted, Ocean Drive and High on the night.
They are also set to play new songs from their latest album Blue Sky In Your Hand, which was released in July this year – their first album in 18 years.
Earlier in the day, there will also be music from support acts including local favourites The Boxtones and Dubai duo The Supernovas.
It was announced earlier this month that Fatboy Slim will headline the main stage on October 31, with a Halloween party. Expect the DJ and producer to play some of his most popular hits, including Right Here, Right Now, Praise You and Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat. Day two will see Richard Ashcroft and The Kooks take the stage.
As well as live music, there will be food stalls and vans, an arts-and-craft market and bars. On Friday, doors will be open from 2pm, when live music starts, and bars will offer a happy hour lasting until 6pm.
This year, there will be a Park View package for people aged over 21 only. It offers a platform view across the venue, as well as unlimited food and beverages. The Thursday Park View ticket includes food and drink from 6pm until 1am, and the Friday Park View ticket includes food and drink from 2pm until 11.30pm. There are also weekend packages.
There are one-day tickets and two-day passes available. Day-one tickets start at Dh160 (early bird), Dh250 (regular), Dh675 (Park View); day-two tickets start at Dh299 (early bird), Dh350 (regular), Dh499 (fan pit), Dh650 (fan pit package, which includes six drinks before 6pm), Dh999 (Park View). Two-day tickets cost Dh499 (regular) or Dh1,399 (Park View). Kids under 10 have free admission.
