Hip-hop star T.I will perform at Drai’s DXB on December 7.

The Houston rapper's performance at the popular beach club comes after releasing one of the best hip-hop albums of the year.

Filled with anthemic odes to the street life and laced with poignant introspection of its costs, Dime Trap goes on to cement T.I, real name Clifford Harris Jr., as one of the genre's most seasoned veterans and leading voices.

The 38-year-old also forged a steady career away from the studio, having starred in a range of films including the 2015 comedy Get Hard, alongside Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart, in addition to the 2015 super-hero film Ant Man.

This year, he launched his television talent quest The Grand Hustle on the US channel BET. Styled as a hip-hop version of The Apprentice, the show has contestants vying for slot as an executive in T. I's entertainment company complete with a six-figure salary.
