November might still feel like a long way off, but Yas Marina Circuit has dropped its first hint at who will be performing at this year’s after show concerts – and it looks set to be big.

Posting a teaser video on Instagram, the official account for the F1 track has given fans three clues as to the first artists in this year's lineup, and we think we've got it sussed.

If we (and the dozens of comments on the post) are right, Travis Scott will be playing Yas Island's Du Arena later this year.

Let us explain why ...

First up, any fans of Scott will have followed his mega US tour last year, which saw him convert a number of America’s biggest arenas into fully-fledged theme park Astroworld.

Its surrealist themes and brightly-coloured merch look strikingly similar to the kaleidoscope background in Yas Marina’s teaser video, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans.

And there’s more

Alongside the background, the video contains three emojis – a flame, an eagle and a cactus – all of which have a connection to the LA-based rapper.

The flame points towards one of his most famous hits LA Flame, while an eagle features on the cover of record Birds in the Trap. He has also performed atop of a giant eagle in the past.

And the cactus? The rapper had a collaboration with Nike last year releasing his limited edition Air Jordan 1 “Cactus Jack” sneakers.

All signs point to Scott, it seems.

Who is Travis Scott?

Travis Scott, real name Jacques Berman Webster II, signed with Epic Records in 2012, and has released three studio albums since then. His latest album Astroworld reached the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart, and saw him nominated for Best Rap Album at this year's Grammy awards.

The 28-year-old is also the partner of the Kylie Jenner, the world's youngest self-made billionaire, and the pair have one-year-old daughter Stormi Webster.

This year's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix takes place between November 29 and December 1. Last year's after race concert headliners included Post Malone, The Weeknd, Sam Smith and Guns N' Roses.
