Singer Lana Del Rey and EDM star Marshmello are set to perform as part of the Abu Dhabi F1.
The announcement of both acts, by organisers Flash Entertainment and Yas Marina Circuit, completes the all-American line-up of this year's Abu Dhabi F1 after-race concert series.
It will begin on Thursday, November 28, with Marshmello behind the DJ decks. Rapper Travis Scott will play on Friday, November 29, followed by Del Rey on Saturday, November 30.
US rockers The Killers will take on the prestigious race-day concert, on Sunday, December 1.
The announcement makes for an immensely impressive final line-up, with all acts at the top of their respective genres.
The biggest surprise is the Del Rey inclusion. The singer’s noir-ish ballads may not seem like an obvious match for the high-octane atmosphere that is the Abu Dhabi F1. However, the event has a history of throwing a few curveballs at music lovers, and they have often proved to be successful.
Last year's strong showing included UK soul singer Sam Smith, and in 2017, folk group Mumford and Sons played.
Del Rey's fans will be ecstatic to see the star making her UAE debut in the capital. In addition to her smouldering hits Summertime Sadness and Born to Die, the artist, 34, recently released her sixth album, Norman (expletive) Rockwell, a record containing more colour and groove than her normally monochromic compositions. The new songs are still dreamy, but they have enough kick to have you moving along.
As for Marshmello – real name Christopher Comstock – he is one of the world’s biggest names in electronic music. With a string of multi-platinum hits, the internationally recognised DJ has had a number of high-profile collaborations with the likes of Bastille, Selena Gomez, Anne-Marie and Khalid.

He will make his Abu Dhabi debut after having headlined Dubai's RedFestDXB 2018 in February last year, a gig that The National said "had the crowd leaping in the air from the moment he arrived on stage".
