Lebanese pop diva Elissa declared she is a fan of young Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred. Speaking at a press conference at the Mawazine Festival in Moroccan capital of Rabat, the 42-year-old X-Factor judge said she is always on the look out for new talent and said Lamjarred could be big star in the making.
"I have to say I am really taken with his new song Al Ma'alem," she said. "That song now makes it three hits in a row for Lamjarred, he is really doing big things at the moment."
Regarding the present rebooted version of The X-Factor Middle East on MBC, Elissa said she is satisfied with the program and looks forward to return next year for season two. The X-Factor Middle East is broadcast live on Saturday at 10pm on MBC4. The last episode is on June 13.
The Mawazine Festival ends on Saturday.
