Less than six months after headlining Dubai's inaugural DXBeach festival, super-producer Mark Ronson will be back in the UAE to top the bill at another new outdoor festival - this time in the capital.
The Uptown Funk hitmaker will co-headline the new 10,000-capacity Green Grooves concert, to take place at Abu Dhabi Golf Club on October 22, with vocalist Labrinth also on the bill.
Early bird tickets for the gig are on sale now at Dh200 from www.ticketmaster.ae, with general admission tickets priced at Dh320 and "gold front" tickets for Dh480.
The outdoor, dance-centric gig is hoped to be the first in a series of larger festival-style bills in Abu Dhabi.
However there will be some competition, with the second DXBeach festival booked for a night later on October 23.
Ronson appeared at the first, 5,000-capacity edition of that Zero Gravity festival in April, serving up a barnstorming, funk-flavoured 90 minute set. Read our review of that gig here, and check our interview with Ronson from the same day here.
