Legoland Dubai has unveiled The Lost Kingdom Adventure ride — the theme park’s flagship attraction in Adventure, one of six themed lands within the venue.

Designed with the whole family in mind, it will particularly appeal to 2- to 12-year-olds — visitors enter the ruins of an ancient Egyptian temple on a carriage equipped with a laser blaster, in a bid to claim the lost treasure of a pharaoh, zapping enemies like cobras and sketons along the way.

Other rides in the Adventure zone include the Beetle Bounce, The Secret Chamber of Amset-Ra and Pharoah’s Revenge.

Legoland Dubai, part of the Dh10.5B Dubai Parks and Resorts development in Jebel Ali, is set to open in October 2016. The operators are expecting 6.7 million ticketed visits in 2017, the first full year of operation, and annual passes are already on sale at www.legoland.ae.
