Lady Gaga is currently recording her new album, which her manager Vincent Herbert says will surpass last year's acclaimed Born This Way: "It's just an insane record. We're doing it on the road now, so it's a little hard, but it's going to be great," he told TMZ.

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their six children have been forced to move out of their London home because of a sewage problem in their leafy suburb of Richmond. The family, who are in London while Jolie films Maleficent, moved temporarily to a property nearby, reported The Sun.

Kathryn Joosten, the Emmy-winning character actress who starred in Desperate Housewives, died on Saturday in Los Angeles, after a long battle with lung cancer. She was 72. Joosten also appeared on The West Wing as Mrs Landingham, the president's secretary. * AP
Johnny Depp given MTV Generation Award
MTV bestowed its highest honour, the Generation Award, to Johnny Depp at last night's MTV Movie Awards. Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry presented the prize to Depp. The three recently held an impromptu and well-documented jam session at the after party for Depp's film Dark Shadows.
Drew Barrymore weds art dealer
Drew Barrymore and the art dealer Will Kopelman married on Saturday in California. Among the guests were her best friends Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon, Busy Philipps and Jimmy Fallon. Barrymore wore a Chanel gown, which Diaz helped her pick last month. The actress has been sporting an ever-growing baby bump recently but has not commented publicly on her pregnancy.
