The Act, Dubai's supperclub that offers Peruvian cuisine and live theatre performances, is celebrating its first birthday on April 17 with a performance from the Grammy-nominated singer Kelis (Milkshake, Bounce). Kelis is also releasing her sixth studio album, Food, on the Ninja Tunes label, the next day. Known for its celebrity clientele and star performers, The Act has previously played host to Tyrese Gibson, Jude Law and Maxwell. With Gibson headed to the UAE this weekend to shoot scenes from Fast & Furious 7 in Abu Dhabi, we wonder if he and his fellow cast members Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Chris "Ludacris" Bridges will be checking out The Act's birthday party next week...
