If Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are dating each other for publicity - it's working.

The reality starlet and rapper have refused to confirm they're a couple, but they arrived hand-in-hand at Chanel's seventh annual artists dinner at the Tribeca Film Festival last week. The two happily posed for the cameras, then sat among a gallery of stars at the event.

West and Kardashian - already each tabloid magnets in their own right - have garnered even more attention since they became a rumoured couple. West recently confessed his love for her in song, and they've been spotted out together in New York.

Kardashian, who made a cameo appearance on 30 Rock's live Thursday episode, attended the White House correspondent's dinner yesterday, through an invitation from Fox News.

The highly anticipated opening of Madonna's MDNA Tour is now planned for May 31 in Tel Aviv, two days later than previously scheduled due to production delays, according to the promoters Live Nation and Shuki Weiss. All tickets dated May 29 will be honoured at the rescheduled event.

American Idol down to five contestants

The 28-year-old teacher Elise Testone was eliminated Thursday on American Idol, in a performance week dedicated to the band Queen.

Remaining in the competition are Hollie Cavanagh, Jessica Sanchez, Phillip Phillips, Skylar Laine and Joshua Ledet.

The latter impressed the judges the most with his energetic take on Queen's Crazy Little Thing Called Love.

"Is it bad for me to say Joshua's part of the show is my favourite part of the show?" beamed Jennifer Lopez.

The finalists were also accompanied by Queen's guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor for a medley.

The remaining singers will return to the stage on Wednesday, where they will perform songs by British musicians.

The winner is scheduled to be crowned on May 23.

Farhan Akhtar sprints through Milkha film

The filmmaker/actor Farhan Akhtar has returned to Mumbai after a gruelling shoot for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (Run Milkha Run), a biopic about India's Olympic sprinter Milkha Singh.

"My work on BMB's first schedule complete. Back home in Mumbai. Time to rest. Recuperate. Recharge. And then resume," he tweeted.

Akhtar went through a month-long training programme to prepare and the first pictures of the actor playing the sprinter were complimented by Sonia Milkha, the athlete's daughter, who said Akhtar closely resembled her father.

The actor also impressed with his performance on the track, finishing a 100-metre dash in less than 12 seconds.
