Expect to hear John Legend perform his latest hit All of Me with a new regional twist.

The news comes after Lebanese producer Jean Marie Riachi composed his own version of the song where he paired Legend’s croon with regional musical instrumentation such as a qanoon, oud and percussion.

Legend was so impressed with the end result that he and Riachi now plan to perform the new arrangement live during Legend’s Dubai Jazz Festival performance on February 27.

Riachi said he was ecstatic at learning Legend was a fan of his All of Me version.

“For many years I have worked with some of the biggest Arabic talent, but this is the first time an international artist of John Legend’s stature has allowed me to create such an oriental version,” he said.

“I am extremely thankful for this opportunity, and delighted John is a fan of the new arrangement.”

The All of Me (Middle East Version) is out through Sony Music Middle East.

The Dubai Jazz Festival 2015 runs from February 25 to 27. Tickets, from Dh395, are available at www.ticketmaster.ae. Visit www.dubaijazzfest.com for more details
