Chart-topping dance-pop singer Jess Glynne will be the star attraction at a three-arts festival, hosted in Dubai next month.

The fiery redhead vocalist will headline a second edition of Meet d3, a free event hosted at Dubai Design District, AKA d3.

Glynne will perform on the event’s middle day, Friday December 9, alongside other confirmed headliners, UK BBC Radio’s DJ Benji B and Lynn El Hayek, winner of MBC’s Arabic language The Voice Kids.

A day earlier (Thursday December 8) the event will open with a series of workshops and events hosted by RBMA, while Saturday December 10 will welcome regional acts to the main stage.

Organisers promise an inclusive, family-friendly, festival feel with an outdoor market, food stalls and children’s educational actives, while prominent Emirati artist Rami Farook will curate an exhibition of emerging UAE and regional artists and designers.

In April 2015, more than 30,000 fans gathered for the inaugural Meet d3, which served as the official opening for the design hub, and starred a raft of regional and international acts including John Newman. Read our review of the weekend here.

Glynne last performed in the UAE at DXBeach in April 2015, at a pivotal moment in her meteoric ascent, but will this time arrive as a fully fledged star.

Breaking out as the featured vocalist on two of 2014's biggest tunes – Clean Bandit anthem Rather Be and Route 94's My Love – Glynne established her place at the forefront of the dance-pop community with last year's solo chart-toppers Hold My Hand and Don't Be So Hard On Yourself, both drawn from solo album I Cry When I Laugh, released in August 2015.
