Jay Z has reportedly been seen shopping for jewellery with his sister-in-law Solange Knowles, a day after footage emerged showing her physically attacking him in a hotel lift. The celebrities reportedly stopped by Mr Flawless in midtown Manhattan, where they spent 20 minutes looking at women’s jewellery, according to TMZ. Sources said the pair showed “no signs of strife” during the outing, and were escorted by the store owner, Greg Yuna, aka Mr Flawless. Jay Z, 44, and Solange, 27, apparently left without buying anything.
Kochadaiiyaan mobile games surpass a million downloads
Two official mobile games inspired by the forthcoming Rajinikanth-starrer Kochadaiiyaan have crossed one million downloads on mobile applications. The games, titled Kochadaiiyaan The Legend: Kingdom Run and Kochadaiiyaan The Legend: Reign of Arrows, are developed by Vroovy, a joint venture between digital media company Hungama and game service company Gameshastra. They were made available across iOS, Android and Windows platforms mid-March. Kochadaiiyaan is directed by Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya R Ashwin, and is out in the UAE on May 22. It is India's first 3-D animated, photorealistic motion capture film. – IANS
Searching for Sugar Man director dies in Stockholm at 36
Malik Bendjelloul, the cash-strapped film maker who shot to Hollywood stardom overnight with the Oscar-winning music documentary Searching for Sugar Man about an obscure Mexican-American folk-rocker who became a cult hero in apartheid-era South Africa, has died. He was 36. A Swedish police spokeswoman said Bendjelloul died in Stockholm late Tuesday, but wouldn't specify where his body was found or the cause of death. She said no crime is suspected in the filmmaker's death. – AP
