It has been announced that the Abu Dhabi landscape will once again feature in a Bollywood film, this time Telugu feature film Duvvada Jagannadham.

Filming is scheduled to start soon with the crew expected in the capital for two weeks with scenes to be shot in locations including Abu Dhabi Global Market, Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Intercontinental Hotel, Yas Links Golf Club and Galleria Mall.

The collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Film Commission (ADFC) will allow the movie team access to twofour54’s production services.

Duvvada Jagannadham, which is a love story between the two lead characters while they are being treated for various neuro-related disorders, is written and directed by Harish Shankar and stars Allu Arjun and Pooja Hedge in lead roles, and is being produced by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Abu Dhabi has been the focus on several Bollywood films and Hollywood blockbusters in the past including Akshay Kumar’s Baby and Hrithik Roshan’s Bang Bang! Fast and Furious 7, and more recently John Abraham and Varun Shawn’s Dishoom.

It is known that film producers receive a 30 per cent rebate as well as access to several locations across the city and local production services if they sign on with the ADFC.
