FBI drops Brad Pitt child abuse investigation
The FBI will not file charges against Brad Pitt stemming from an alleged dispute with his family aboard a private flight. The Federal Bureau of Investigation released a statement stating that it had reviewed the accusations and would not be pursuing further action. In September, actress Angelina Jolie Pitt filed for divorce from Pitt with her attorney saying it was “for the health of the family”. Custody of the actors’ six children is yet to be determined. Jolie-Pitt is seeking sole custody, while Pitt is seeking joint custody. A final agreement will be part of the couple’s divorce judgment when it is entered. — AP

Kanye West reportedly suffering spiritual crisis
Rapper Kanye West is reported to be undergoing a 'spiritual crisis' following his hospitalisation this week for exhaustion and the cancellation of his US tour. The comments were made to People magazine by a source close to the 39-year-old who is being treated in Los Angeles for sleep deprivation. "Sometimes, darkness creeps in, and Kanye wrestles against it," the source says. "He talks about that a lot. It's exhausting, and it takes everything he's got. He's just so tired now; he's very low energy and feels like there's a grieving in his spirit. It's very hard to explain, but something has happened recently." Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has revealed her adolescent insecurities to online celebrity magazine InStyle. "I used to be really conscious about so many things about myself, and my eyebrows were these thick, bold brows," the 34-year-old says. "But now, I've made them my strength. Everyone says your eyebrows are supposed to be cousins or sisters, not twins, but mine aren't. They're identical twins and I make sure they look like that." Ali Fazal wraps shooting Hollywood film
Hindi actor Ali Fazal has completed the filming of a Hollywood film called Victoria and Abdul here. The movie, helmed by British film director Stephen Frears, is based on a novel by acclaimed Indian author Shrabani Basu. It centres around the relationship shared by Queen Victoria and a Muslim attendant in her government called Abdul Karim. It charts Karim's rise to became one of the most powerful figures in Victoria's court. Oscar-winning actress Judi Dench plays the Queen and Fazal plays Karim, who was affectionately known as 'the Munshi'. "I've been away from home for the last three months," says Karim.
