Let the guessing game begin ahead of tomorrow's announcement of the artists that are on the bill as part of this year’s Abu Dhabi F1 after race concert series.

Promoters Flash Entertainment will unveil the first two international artists to perform at Yas Island’s Du Arena on Tuesday, July 4 at 10.30am.

The concerts, which have been part of the Abu Dhabi F1 since its inception in 2009, are normally scheduled for the end of each day's racing action, around 9pm.

This year’s race, to be held at the Yas Marina Circuit, is to be held from November 24 to 26.

Last year’s after-race concert series featured an eclectic lineup of artists ranging from English dance veterans The Chemical Brothers and pop legend Lionel Richie to star of the moments Pitbull and Rihanna - it was the latter who performed the prestigious race day show.

Last year’s series included four concerts featuring western artists, but the Abu Dhabi F1 sporadically hosts an evening dedicated to Arab pop stars too.

The last such spectacle was held in 2015 featuring Algeria’s rai King Cheb Khaled and Lebanon’s Fares Karam.

At present, no mention has been made by Flash Entertainment regarding an all-Arab concert this year.

Not all music will be limited to Yas Island, however. The Abu Dhabi F1 is also home to the Beats on The Beach concert series, which is held on the Abu Dhabi Corniche.

Held simultaneously with the after-race concerts at the du Arena, Beats on the Beach features over a dozen artists over three nights ranging from pop, rock and hip hop.

Headliners last year included Lebanese pop icon Nancy Ajram, reggae star Sean Paul and rapper Big Sean.

Details of this year’s Beats on the Beach have yet to be announced.
