Disney/Pixar Studio's classic fishy tale from 2003 gets a 3D makeover. It starts with a trauma that rivals Bambi's mum being shot - the clown fish Marlin's wife and baby fish eggs are all eaten by a predator, leaving only one baby for him to protectively raise: Nemo.

And when the cute little nipper is trapped by a diver, it's up to his anxious dad and the memory-impaired fish Dory to go on an adventure to find him.

Packed with humour (much of it delivered by Brooks as Marlin and especially DeGeneres as Dory), excitement and charm, it features stunning animation that didn't really need the extra punch of three dimensions, but if such trickery tempts a new generation to see a wonderful movie, it can't be a bad thing.
