Unseen images of '6 Underground' filming in the UAE released ahead of Netflix debut
The film, shot across the UAE, will be released on Netflix on Friday, December 13
Ahead of its Netflix debut on Friday, December 13, previously unseen images from the set of 6 Underground have been released by twofour54, offering a behind-the-scene glimpse of scenes shot across the UAE.
The film, starring Ryan Reynolds, Dave Franco, Melanie Laurent, and Corey Hawkins, was shot at various locations across the country, including Abu Dhabi, the Liwa desert, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah.
In previously unseen images, Reynolds can be seen alongside co-stars Corey Hawkins and Ben Hardy filming in Abu Dhabi, while Melanie Laurent is pictured in scenes shot in the Liwa Desert. There is also a new image of the film’s full cast, as well as a snippet of director Michael Bay during filming at Louvre Abu Dhabi.

The film, directed by Bay, has been described as a collision of Deadpool and Mission Impossible. It follows a group of six action heroes from around the globe who have a desire to delete their pasts while changing the future. It is the most expensive film ever produced by Netflix, with a budget of around $125 million (Dh460 million). Netflix worked with twofour54 in Abu Dhabi on full production services for the 30-day shoot across the country.
