Bollywood film Bunty Aur Babli 2 has wrapped up filming in Abu Dhabi. The production team shot over 10 days at two Abu Dhabi locations, the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club and Emirates Palace, twofour54 announced today.

Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Varun V Sharma, the crime comedy sequel brings back Bollywood star Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan, with Siddhant Chaturvedi and newcomer Sharvari as the new con couple.

The original film, which came out in 2005, starred Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan along with Mukerji.

Chopra said that the landscape of Abu Dhabi added to the scale of the film. "The portions shot in Abu Dhabi will be a treat for the eyes of audiences," Chopra said of the shoot, which was facilitated in the emirate through Abu Dhabi's twofour54.

Abu Dhabi has become a popular destination for Bollywood productions in recent years, with films including Bharat, Saaho and Tiger Zinda Hai all shooting here. Bunty Aur Babli 2 is expected to be released on Friday, June 26 this year.
