2019 is set to be an amazing year for live music, and for pop fans it just got even better as Little Mix, Liam Payne and Rita Ora have just announced that they are coming to the UAE.
The three acts will be performing at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on Saturday March 23, for a concert celebrating the Global Teacher Prize, hosted by the Varkey Foundation.
The concert celebrates the incredible work by teachers around the world.
Little Mix
Black Magic singers Little Mix are yet to perform to an arena crowd in the UAE, but members of the band have made personal appearances at now-closed nightclub Mahiki in the past.
The British band is made up of members Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
Expect the X Factor-formed band to perform hits like Hair, Woman Like Me and Shout Out to My Ex.
Liam Payne
This won't be the first time Cheryl Tweedy's ex, Liam Payne, has performed in the UAE. The 25-year-old was in Dubai in March last year, performing at Global Village in a Dh10-entry concert at the park.
It's unlikely that the former One Direction singer will perform any of the band's hits, but you can expect him to sing solo songs, including Bedroom Floor, Strip That Down and Slow.
Rita Ora
Fifty Shades actress and singer, Rita Ora, is a UAE regular, having performed at Base, Sandance and RedFestDxb in the past.
Perhaps we can hope for Ora and Payne to team up on stage to perform their duet, For You.
Tickets start at Dh350 and are available via 800tickets.com
