Tiger Zinda Hai, the hotly anticipated action flick from Ali Abbas Zafar, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is set to shoot in the UAE in the coming weeks – and the producers have put out a call for no fewer than 1,500 extras.

In a social-media post, local events-management company Trillium said the filmmakers are looking for men and women, and a variety of nationalities.

Interested would-be movie stars should send two photos of themselves (not selfies) and a copy of their Emirates ID to Ismail Muhammad Al Arkaan on 0525804088.

Trillium’s previous work on movies in the UAE includes 2014’s Bang Bang, which was filmed in Abu Dhabi and also starred Kaif.

The company confirmed that it is handling the Tiger Zinda Hai casting call, but were unable to give any dates or locations of the shoot.

Tiger Zinsa Hai is the sequel to the 2012 hit Ek Tha Tiger, based on the comic books of the same name about an agent code-named Tiger (Khan).

The cast and crew spent much of April filming in the Austrian Tyrol. The film is scheduled for release in December.
