During the last few days of Ramadan, Careem will make it easier to get into the spirit of the Holy Month. The home-grown chauffeur driven car booking service has a number of initiatives to give back to its drivers, called “Captains”, with the help of passengers.

The company has been distributing iftar packs to their drivers this entire month, but in the final few days of Ramadan all the tips they receive from customers will be matched by the company, as well.

Careem has also partnered with detergent company Omo to help customers donate clothes to the needy. Everyday between 10am and 4pm, residents can log on to the app and arrange a complimentary pickup of clothes they want to donate by using the “omo” promo code. The clothes will be donated to the Red Crescent.

As a way of giving back, the company is also offering customers complimentary rides to mosques. The initiative in collaboration with Emirates Islamic is available for residents who want to attend the Isha and night prayers by using the promo code “EmiratesIslamic”

As Ramadan is a time to reflect and to be thankful, Careem is further focusing on generosity and giving back through its partnership with “Emirates Islamic”. Customers who would like to visit the mosque during the Holy Month are able to avail complimentary rides to attend both the Isha and night prayers by using the promo code “EmiratesIslamic”.
