Maybe baby can wait, but the internet sure can't.
The blogosphere and Twitter are at fever pitch with rumours, gossip, tips, inferences and even bad Photoshopping all about one thing: whether Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z have welcomed their baby girl.
No matter that the couple and their spokespeople have maintained total silence and that no credible reports exist. The Beyoncé Baby Watch has become a cyber-event unto itself.
It all started with the Twitter explosion when the singer announced her pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards last summer, setting a world record of 8,868 tweets per second.
After a surreal moment when conspiracy theorists were convinced the baby news was an elaborate hoax involving a prosthetic belly - all, of course, denied by Beyoncé - the web picked up steam as the due date neared.
In recent days, blogs and Twitter pages seemed certain that Beyoncé had not only checked into a New York hospital, but that she had actually given birth. The internet has even named the couple's firstborn, Tiana-May Carter, after Disney's first black princess, Tiana, in The Princess and the Frog.
Yoko Ono show tackles Indian women
The thrust behind much of the work done by Yoko Ono - famous more for being the widow of a Beatle rather than an artist in her own right - has been feminism, often long before others were tackling the subject, in art, installations and performances.
In 1965, she put on a show in New York called Cut Piece, in which she sat impassively while members of the audience cut off her clothes. So it is perhaps no surprise that for her first show in India, to open on January 13, her subject is Indian women and their problems.
In a country where women have an inferior and subordinate status and where the abortion of female foetuses is rampant, even among the educated and affluent, her show, Our Beautiful Daughters, can be expected to provoke and possibly even outrage, given the conservatism of Indian society.
Ono, 78, first visited India in the 1970s with her husband John Lennon and the rest of the Beatles.
The owner of Vadhera Art Gallery in New Delhi where the show - which is expected to include a live performance by Ono with Indian musicians - is to be staged on January 13, said it was going to be a "homage to Indian women and their moral strength".
SRK celebrates New Year in Dubai
While many Bollywood stars made a quick buck entertaining crowds on New Year's Eve, the actor Shah Rukh Khan chose to spend time with his family and friends at his Dubai villa, after a hectic 2011.
Holidaying with his wife Gauri and children Aryan and Suhana, Khan injured his ribs while playing with his children. "Have hurt ribs. Holiday soccer career nipped in the bud ... bah! Now to indulge in reading and video games. Hurts only when I laugh or breathe," Khan wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
He played midnight soccer with Suhana, rode beach buggies with his friend Ritesh Sidhwani, who co-produced Don 2 - which stars Khan - and played video games to bring in the New Year.
"A different bringing in the new year. Near midnight soccer with my daughter ... she is leading two to one. Lemme show her the stuff I am made up of," Khan tweeted. "Awesome fun with kids on the beach ... atv rides ... fights in the sand ... temple run game ... but think I overdid the fights ... aching all over."
Elton John to produce his own biopic
Elton John is working on a biopic about himself and would like Justin Timberlake to take the lead role, he said in an interview published on Sunday.
An announcement about the film is due very soon, the 64-year-old musician told the Los Angeles Times.
"That's very much in the works. We're making an announcement about that very, very soon. We have a director on board, and then it's just going to be a matter of getting the script exactly the way we want it," he said.
Lee Hall, who wrote the screenplay for Billy Elliot, has written the script for this, John said, adding that casting would start soon.
On who would play him, he said: "I don't know. I've got a wish list of people. No 1 on my wish list is Justin Timberlake because he played me before in a David LaChapelle video of Rocket Man and was superb."
