Saudi Arabia is set to host an exhibition featuring the works of Banksy, the anonymous British artist known for making political statements through his graffiti.

Titled The Art of Banksy "Without Limits", the show includes 70 artworks including photographs and prints.

The exhibition, which has traveled to Amsterdam, Berlin and Paris, is not authorised by or affiliated with Banksy himself. It is comprised of works from private collections around the world, and run by a company called Starvox Exhibits in the US.

The Art of Banksy "Without Limits" will open on Friday, February 21, at the King Abdullah Financial Centre in Riyadh, according to the Saudi Press Agency. The exhibition will run until Monday, April 20, and marks the first time the show has come to the Middle East. Tickets start from 100 riyals (Dh98) at Platinumlist, and the exhibition also includes the screening of a 10-minute documentary.

"The Art of Banksy is meant to celebrate Banksy’s art and drive his message of hope and humanity to the world," the listing reads.

In its previous iterations, the show has included Banksy works such as Girl with Balloon, Pulp Fiction, Flower Thrower, Monkey Queen and Soup Can. Visitors have to purchase tickets to enter, a move contrary to the artist's own ethos, which is to display his work in public spaces for people to see.

So far, Banksy has not made mention of the Saudi Arabian show on social media.
