This week as part of the Louvre Abu Dhabi Talking art series, film director James Ivory will be talking about his collection of Indian miniature paintings and how this love led him into a career of filmmaking. His entire collection of paintings is now part of Louvre Abu Dhabi’s permanent collection, so this talk will give an insight into the pieces.
* James Ivory: Indian Miniatures and Film will take place on Wednesday 28th January at Manarat Al Saadiyat at 6.30pm. It will be followed by a screening of Ivory’s film Hullabaloo over Georgie and Bonnie’s pictures.
