Michael Arnold, the artist currently exhibiting his art at Showcase Gallery will be leading two workshops this month.
The artist, who spent 40 years as an architect prior to embarking on his artistic practice, has created his own technique of monoprinting to produce the work in the show: From the Art of Architecture to the Architecture of Art.
In the workshop, he will lead participants through how to make the monoprint from a hand-sketched image and produce a set of prints. All materials will be provided as well as an optional lunch as part of the day-long workshop. The only thing Mike asks is that you come dressed in painting clothes and bring a sketchbook.
• Workshops take place on Saturday 11th & 18th October and will run from 10am – 4.30pm.
