World Art Dubai, the region's largest affordable art fair, kicked off yesterday, showcasing more than 3,000 works by artists from around the world.

Now in its sixth year, the fair presents a more open and accessible entry point for those wanting to acquire art without breaking the bank. It also acts as an invaluable platform for emerging artists and photographers.

With creatives such as Filipino sand artist Nathaniel Alapide, Emirati artist Mouza Al Mansoori and Russian-Syrian artist Dina Saadi creating works on site, and galleries from as far afield as Spain, Japan and Azerbaijan presenting their works, there’s something on offer for everyone.

The fair runs until Saturday, October 10, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. For more information, visit worldartdubai.com.
