Every day throughout the month of Ramadan, Abu Dhabi Art Hub is hosting a talk from a UAE-based artist. The artists vary across disciplines from Naseem Majid, an Emirati mosaic artist to Ahmad A. Nasser, an architect and designer.

The artists are also from many different parts of the world. Rena Ozaki will be talking about her art and how it is inspired by her Japanese upbringing and Esra Olgun Mustafa is a Turkish artist who specialises in the art of marbling. Filmmakers, gallerists and photographers are also on the line up.

A highlight will be on June 4 when Abu Dhabi based photographer Yiannis Roussakis will be presenting a lecture and showing slides of his work. Roussakis has a recognisable style where he documents the society in which he lives as well as adding his own personal artistic twist.

His most recent exhibition Songs for Everyone at Etihad Modern Art Gallery was the result of six months spent in Cambodia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and India, shooting portraits of the people he met.
