The Space Sessions kicked off in Abu Dhabi yesterday with a performance by Emirati soul singer Hamdan Al Abri.
Running as part of the Abu Dhabi Festival and held at twofour54's The Space, the program is a series of youth centered events focusing on arts and expression.
“I love being a part of what the Abu Dhabi Festival is doing,” said Al Abri.
“I love that they’re giving inspiring artists and musicians a platform to be heard; forming a community where musicians can come down and express themselves with their respective instruments.”
The next space session will be held on March 12.
Titled the The Hero Inside, the session is a comic arts and animation exhibition by students of Abu Dhabi schools and New York University Abu Dhabi, depicting personal heroes inspired by family and friends.
