The low-key wedding of Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig is by no means the only romance that has started on a movie set.
A hush-hush bonding for movie couple
There's nothing more secretive than the life of a secret agent - or so the wedding of the Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz to the James Bond actor Daniel Craig would imply. The British stars, who have been dating since December, married in a private ceremony in New York last week according to Craig's publicist.
How beautifully life imitates art: eyes locked and hearts fluttered when the two played a married couple during the filming of the forthcoming movie Dream House. Both free agents at the time, it seems they struck up a rather special bond after Craig split up with his long-term girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell and Weisz ended her nine-year relationship with the Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky.
They're not the first actors to take their roles to heart: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie famously met on the 2005 film set of Mr & Mrs Smith. in which they too were cast as husband and wife. From the archives, Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall turned their on-screen romance into reality back in 1944 when they met on the set of To Have and Have Not. Married at the time, Bogart promptly divorced his wife and married Bacall a year later: the couple went on to have two children together.
