The first headliners have been revealed for the 2016 edition of RedFestDXB, with 50 Cent and Rita Ora topping the bill.
The award-winning two-day event will return to Dubai Media City February 11 and 12.
Also set to perform at the annual music festival’s third edition is Eva Simons and DJ MistaJam, with more pop, urban and dance acts to be announced in coming months.
It's been some time since Fiddy has paid the UAE visit, with the In Da Club singer last spotted headlining Dubai's now-defunct Atelier Festival in 2012. In the meantime the rapper otherwise known as Curtis Jackson has turned 40 and filed for bankruptcy.
Rita Ora is a more consistent draw, having appeared at both the RedFestDXB in 2014 and Sandance NYE in 2012. The British singer's star has continued to soar, with last year's I Will Never Let You Down marking Ora's fourth UK number one single.
Dutch singer Simons is best known for collaborating with Will.i.am on UK number one This is Love, as well as Afrojack's hit Take Over Control.
Closing the gig will be British Radio One DJ MistaJam. The festival favourite was booked to perform at DXBeach a few days ago, on October 23, but pulled out at the nth hour, only to announce this headline slot at competing RedFestDXB.
