UAE weather: Humid and hazy for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Forecasters say the weather will be relatively hot in the day, with some towering clouds over the eastern and northern areas in the afternoon. Relative humidity is expected to hit 95 per cent on the coast and in the interior.

ABU DHABI // Weather forecasters warn relative humidity will increase tonight and tomorrow early morning over some coastal areas.

Today’s weather will be relatively hot during the day and hazy at times, and will be mild by night, with a chance of some towering clouds over the eastern and northern areas by the afternoon, the online forecast of the National Centre of Meteorology & Seismology (NCMS) in Abu Dhabi states.

Relative humidity is expected to reach highs of 70 to 95 per cent on the coast and 65 to 95 per cent in the interior. Winds will be moderate, causing dust and sand to blow.

It will be mostly hazy tomorrow and on Friday, with a chance of towering clouds over the eastern areas by afternoon.

Temperatures will be as high as 35°C on the coast and 37°C in the interior.

Tomorrow’s temperatures will decrease slightly, especially over the coastal areas. The weather will be partly cloudy, and the amount of clouds will likely increase over the eastern and northern, and may be associated with rainfall over some areas.

Winds will be light to moderate, freshening at times, while the sea will be slight to moderate.

Relatively hot weather will persist on Tuesday during the day. It will be hazy at times by afternoon, and mild in general by night.

There will be some chance of some towering clouds over the eastern and northern areas by afternoon. Winds will be light to moderate, freshening at times.

Relative humidity will increase during the night and early morning time over some coastal areas.

The sea will be moderate with offshore waves reaching up to five feet, the NCMS forecast adds.
