Instagram footage of Dubai Crown Prince playing with rare tiger cub wows social media fans

Footage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed on Instagram gives his fans a peek into his private life.

DUBAI // A video of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, playing with a rare white tiger cub has become a huge hit on social media.

Sheikh Hamdan posted the footage himself on Instagram – a rare insight into his private life.

The cub is seen playing with him on a sofa and seems to love the human interaction.

It is not known where the footage was filmed or where the tiger came from.

The clip, titled Meet my friend (Famous), has been liked more than 47,000 times and attracted more than 2,500 comments since it was posted on October 17.

Sheikh Hamdan’s Instagram account states: “A picture is capturing a moment in time. These are my moments that I’m sharing with u. Thanks and enjoy.”

There are more than 500 pictures of the Crown Prince, who posts under the username Faz3 on Instagram. Sheikh Hamdan is a keen horse rider and many of the pictures and videos show him enjoying the outdoors or at various events.

He has a large following on various social media sites and each of his Instagram posts have at least 40,000 likes. He has more than 436,000 followers on Instagram, 448,000 on Twitter and 141,000 fans “like” his Facebook page.

His latest Instagram post is a picture of his father, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, in front of a painting of the late Sheikh Zayed.
