Miroslav Beranek is dismissed as coach of Al Wasl to become the first managerial casualty of the Pro League season.

DUBAI // Miroslav Beranek has been dismissed as coach of Al Wasl to become the first managerial casualty of the Pro League season. The Czech coach was sacked just 48 hours after the team's 4-2 defeat to Al Wahda in what was just their second game of the campaign. Reserve team coach Jaroslav Horak will take over from his compatriot on a caretaker basis with Al Wasl aiming to appoint a permanent successor to Beranek before the next round of matches this weekend. *PA Sport
