Germany draw with China

Germany prepared for Tuesday's friendly with the UAE with a 1-1 draw against China today. Hao Junmin put the home side ahead from a tight angle after five minutes, but the lead did not last long. Just two minutes later Bastian Schweinsteiger played in Lukas Podolski, who calmly beat the Chinese goalkeeper Yang Zhi. Stuttgart's Brazilian-born striker Cacau and Wolfsburg's Christian Gentner both made their international debuts for a lacklustre Germany.
