AMI and Uniforge, who have both won one and lost one so far, will be bidding to join them as runners-up in the next round. Also tonight, Jashanmal know that victory over UPS will ensure they qualify from group B. The 20-over tournament, organised by Dulsco SC in association with Dubai Municipality, is being played under the auspices of the Dubai Cricket Council.
On Wednesday, Tariq Farook's half-century saw Brookefield Multiplex carve out a 97-run victory over HSBC. Brookfield posted 184 and then bowled out HSBC for 88 in 17.2 overs. Farook hit a whirlwind 84 from 41 balls and belted six towering sixes as Brookfield set HSBC 185 for victory. HSBC made a mess of their reply, with only Sidh (16) reaching double figures. Nick picked up three wickets for 20 runs while Daryl claimed three for 24 runs as HSBC were bowled out for a paltry 88, with 30 runs arrived in extras.

Rufi Real Estate, the visiting team from India lost the early initiative when they were bowled out for 103 in the 24th over despite a good knock of 38 off 45 balls by KV Seshagiri. Zeeshan ran through the tentative Veteran CA batting line-up, taking four wickets for just seven runs. Rohan Mustafa (3-8) and Adil Mirza (2-26) further made life difficult for the visitors with some accurate bowling. Rufi Real Estate, in reply, reached the victory target in just 9.3 overs. Mirza followed up his two-wicket haul with a fluent innings of 38 off 24 balls which included four fours and three sixes.
