UAE come up short in Asian ice hockey event final

The UAE lost the International Ice Hockey Challenge Cup of Asia - a tournament they won in Abu Dhabi last year - 3-2 to Chinese Taipei, the hosts, on Sunday. Chinese Taipei bounced back from a 2-1 defeat to the UAE in the group phase to win the final. The UAE's Khalid al Suwaidi was named the best goalkeeper of the competition.
