Senators march into play-offs

Ottawa secured an NHL play-off place on Thursday night after a 4-3 win over Carolina. Erik Karlsson scored his second goal of the game with 7.7 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime and give the Senators the point they need to reach the post-season. Alex Kovalev and Jason Spezza then scored in the shoot-out to give them the win.
