Red Sox are still standing


Sometime over the past few weeks, the Boston Red Sox ceased resembling a baseball team and began to look more like the waiting room at a medical clinic. The trickle of injuries began early when Jacoby Ellsbury (broken ribs) and Mike Cameron (abdominal strain), both outfielders, were lost. They began to intensify with the loss of Jeremy Hermida (broken ribs), the outfielder, and Josh Beckett (lower back), their starting pitcher.
