Duncan's dozens beat Bucks

Tim Duncan scored 24 points and had 12 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs beat Milwaukee 112-98 on Monday to end the Bucks' three game winning streak. Reserve Matt Bonner chipped in with 23 points, including six three-pointers, as the Spurs improved to 6-6 this season. "We're moving the ball really well. We have really good shooters and when we can get those guys open shots it's best for us," said Duncan.

"We're also getting a lot of good play from our bench and that's what we're going to need if we're going to win games like this." Ersan Ilyasova top scored for Milwaukee (8-4) with 20 points while the rookie Brandon Jennings added just 12, less than half his average points total this season. "I don't think he [Jennings] was forcing shots. He went to the rim a few times in transition and came up empty," said the Bucks coach Scott Skiles.

"They played pretty good defence on him. He had some looks that he has been making and just missed tonight." Rudy Gay scored 24 points and hauled down eight rebounds as the Memphis Grizzlies posted a 116-105 victory over the Sacramento Kings. Tyreke Evans fired in a game-high 28 points for the Kings, who slipped to their fourth consecutive defeat. The Portland Trail Blazers dominated the Chicago Bulls on their way to a 122-98 victory, with LaMarcus Aldridge and Greg Oden netting 24 points apiece for the winners.

"I'm not saying my game is where it should be, but when I can get good deep post position and overpower people and get good shots up, I definitely want to use my strength," said Oden, the first pick of the 2007 draft. The Los Angeles Clippers had to work hard to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 91-87. * With agencies
