Canucks keep their series alive

Kevin Bieksa scored twice as the Vancouver Canucks beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-1 to remain in their Western Conference semi-final series. The Canucks had been heavily defeated in their past two play-off games but recovered to pull the series back to 3-2 and keep their postseason dreams alive. They knew they had to get off to a good start in Chicago and that is precisely what they did as Christian Ehrhoff gave them the lead just 59 seconds into the game. Bieksa grabbed his double in the second period and, although Friday's hat-trick hero Jonathan Toews grabbed one back for the Blackhawks, Alexandre Burrows sealed the victory. Game Six of the best-of-seven series takes place on Thursday in Chicago.
