Frankie Dettori will ride Rio De La Plata, a three-time Group 1 winner in Europe, in tonight's Group 2 Al Fahidi Fort, a mile contest on the turf.
"Rio De La Plata has been working nicely and looks in good form at the moment," bin Suroor said. "He was unlucky not to win a big race last season but he's ready to run and we are looking forward to seeing him run well."
Bin Suroor also saddles Do It All, ridden by Silvestre De Sousa, for that race, while his fellow Godolphin trainer, Mahmood Al Zarooni, is responsible for Time Prisoner, with Mickael Barzalona aboard.
Godolphin is also well represented in today's handicaps with 13 confirmed runners, including the bin Suroor-trained pair of Delegator (Dettori) and Colonial (Barzalona) in the Range Rover Evoque Trophy over seven furlongs on turf.
The highlight of tomorrow's card is the Group 2 Balanchine over nine furlongs on turf, with Dysphonia (Dettori) scheduled to make her debut for bin Suroor after having finished third in the Group 1 Myer Classic in Australia, on her latest start in October.
Godolphin has declared 19 horses, plus two reserves, for races today and tomorrow.
