HULL // Matthew Taylor's second half strike took Bolton Wanderers out of the relegation zone and consigned Hull to their third successive loss. The former Portsmouth man struck five minutes after half-time as his volley beat the Hull goalkeeper Boaz Myhill. It was tough on the Tigers who had the better of a scrappy affair at the KC Stadium. Marlon King hit the bar in the first half with a cheeky backheel, while after the break it took a terrific save from Bolton keeper Jussi Jasskelainen to keep out Geovanni's free-kick.
